Long before Covid drove everyone to Video meetings I had begun to question the value or even the benefit of the traditional ‘go to the home’ dog behavior consult. Dogs were often distracted by the lady with the good timing and yummy treats or unable to participate in the training because they were fearful of new people. Even when everything went as expected, having me show you that your dog can do a new behavior when it is introduced by a veteran handler does not give you the foundation skills that you need to develop together with your dog.

Working through phone and video meetings with text and email support is far better. These technologies allow me to be more available and responsive between sessions. I am able to provide more flexible and affordable options. I am not tied to geography. No one is out of my area.

What is Next

Before our first session I will send you a questionnaire to gather information. This is followed by a free 15-minute chat where we can discuss why you are looking for help and what kinds of solutions i would offer. If it seems like a good fit this can roll into the 1st session or we can schedule for another time.

Despite my many years of experience I am not always the best person for you. I have many talented colleagues and ,if I am not the one, I will try to connect you to someone else.

Initial Consults $125	Service	Rates
The 1st time we meet is by phone.	Phone New Client 1st 15 minutes	No Charge
We will go over the information in the questionnaire and find the roots of the miscommunication.	All Clients 1st hour	$70 per hour
I will give you some things to work on.	Additional time	$55/hr pro-rated in 15 minute blocks
I will follow up with an email with an overview of our meeting and some resources that expand on what we discussed.	Zoom : 1 way video ( I can see what you are doing)	$85/hr pro-rated in 15 minute blocks.
	2 way video (you can see me demonstrate)	$125/hr pro-rated in 15 minute blocks.
